Re: A few body mods....
Here's alittle better pic of the exhaust...
The exhaust tips were quite the job! Had to cut out bottom of trunk well and raise it up to clear the pipes so I could get the tips up into the bumper.
The hood was regular fiberglass work.
The door handles, I am quite fond of, you can't tell in the pic, but they are flush and work much better than the factory handles.

Re: A few body mods....
I like the hood. Does it come forward as it goes up? Just trying to figure out how it doesn't hit the windshield, being so close.
I like my old Camaros door handles better...but those aren't BAD.
The exhaust...No bad at all, just not MY style. Nice fit though!

Re: A few body mods....
The hood is on regular hinges and it has plenty of clearance. I think you'll be able to see the space with this pic.
I will post another pic with the hood up tomorrow night..
Your door handles are pretty cool also. Mine came from a 97 Bonneville, what are your's from?

Re: A few body mods....
I think it all looks good.
Although I haven't every really liked spoilers very tall on these cars.
I also think a little differnt door handle would suit me better, but I think it looks great flush with the body. I also think it will look that much better when you get it painted.
I will also say one last thing.
Regardless of what anyone else thinks it's your car and what you think will look good is what you should do.
But it's nice to hear it from other people or to get other ideas too.

Hey Abubaca, ever get to Dunn-Benson dragway? I have a Top 8 Doorslammer car,63 vette that we used to run down there some. was a 4 hour tow! Fuel prices tend to keep us closer to home now . Later guys, Dean.

Re: A few body mods....
I've been in NC for about 13 years. 11 years in Greensboro, the last two in Raleigh, -BUT, I actually just moved back to Greensboro about a month ago. Never made it out to Dunn-Benson.
I bought my 89 in 98! That means I've had it longer than anyone else, which is something I'm pretty happy about!!!!
