Found some rust, need some info on these panels
I just bought this car and pulled it apart. I found some rust. i was wondering if anyone has some info on fixing these areas. I have looked around to see if anyone makes a replacement part but haven't found anything. I could just make some pieces and patch it up. The floor pans look pretty good so far. I haven't pulled the insulation out from under the dash yet.
This is the area behind the fender where it bolts to the body

Just take some sheet metal and make a few patches. Make sure you clean everything up real good. Paint it with por 15 or rust bullet to make sure nothing comes back
Good Luck

patch panels & por-15/rust bullet.
Then carefully inspect the rest of the vehicle,
cause rust like that usually has other company.

From what I can see of your floor they don't look too bad. But make sure you check thoroughly, remove any rust. No matter how innocent it may look. Rust spreads as fast as rabbits breed.

The floors look good, just some surface rust under the car. Might need a small patch around the areas you see here. I am going to put it on a rotiserie so nothing will get by me.
