paint for plastic
I am repainting my ta and i want to restore the plastic headlight surrounds and various pieces so everything looks new. What products are everyone using the duplicolor plastic paint or the stuff from sem? Im not sure what color it should be as mine seem to be a little faded. Im guessing semi gloss or satin?

Re: paint for plastic
I've used SEM products with good results. I believe interior colors are available in only one sheen, but I may be wrong. However, the stuff I used was the correct luster.
FWIW, I used black paint.
For exterior pieces SEM's trim paint works really well also.
Surface prep is the most important part of the equation, as you probably know. And a good adhesion promoter, at least for inside plastics, is mandatory.
