door pins for a dummy

Hello everyone at the third gen community.

I've read many different posts on this helpful website for the removal and installation of door pins but I haven't found a fool proof by the book answer for this job.
I was wondering if anyone had done this maybe even more than once and had a good formula for this job.I plan on tackling it this weekend for both doors on my 85 z28.

I was gunna use two sets of soft straps and a engine hoist.
I don't know if im able to leave the doors bolted on or if I have to remove the power door wires.

id appreciate some feed back about this problem.
I purchased two dorman pin and bushing kits and I believe that they come with everything.
thank to everyone!

I started a thread five days ago regarding the same subject. There's a ton of excellent information provided by Ionsal and AndyZ28 in this thread. It should tell you everything you need to know. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/body...-bushings.html
