Messed up my rear metal brake line fitting
The fitting on the brake line going from the master cylinder to the back of the car (the fitting on the hard line that connects to the rear center brake line) got completely stripped today. Cut off the flare and took the old fitting off...now I need to get my hands on a new fitting....where can I get one?
On a somewhat related question....I keep reading that the stock flare on these lines are bubble flares....however....when I redid the hard lines on each side of the rear....I just used a standard double flare tool to make the flares....no leaks...no problems....what gives? Will using this flare on the center hard brake line be ok?
