I'm guessing this is the problem
Hey all. So if I suddenly hit the brakes the car swerves to the left. I'm pretty sure the idiot that had the car before me warped the rotors when he replaced them. My first question is what should I look for before replacing the rotors. And the second is what type of rotors should I get if they do need to be replaced (I know nothing about brakes)? I have stock 92 Z28 wheels.

If a normal application of the brakes causes no pulling, but a jab on the brakes causes the car to change lanes, front brake hoses are the best bet.

Do the brake hoses first, then bleed the brakes and change out all fluid.
Then if it still swerves, then it's corroded pistons. Go buy some remanufactured calipers. Warped rotors cause pulsing, not necessarily swerving.
However chances are it is the flexible lines. Those go bad after seven years if you are not changing the fluid every 36 months.
