Brake Lines: IROC-Z to C5 swap
Getting to the point where i'm thinking about finishing up the C5 swap. While i've got the system open, i figured i might as well replace the lines.
I've poked around some here but couldn't find the info i am looking for.
Do i just need a stainless braided kit for an IROC, or do i need to buy a set for a C5? Stock, the IROC has drums in the back, so i'm thinking i need to buy the kit for 4-wheel disc since i'll be installing the C5 discs in the back as well.
Anyone who's done this let me know if i'm going down the right road. I'm fairly sure i can just order the braided kit for the 4 wheel disc IROC and it'll bolt up to the C5 brakes. Just wanted to verify before placing the order.

you just need the flex kit for the camaro, they are the same, but IIRC you need the banjo bolts from the new brakes.

Thanks guys, that's what i was hoping. Thinking i'll add this to my Xmas list this year. The C5 set i bought still have the rubber lines on them, so i should be set w/ the banjo bolts.

I think that's the kit that Summit carries. Was planning on going with that one. Appreciate the help all. Next thing i'll need to look into is picking up the drum-to-disc conversion bracket from ebmiller. Any holiday sales coming up i should know about eb?

You could use braided line and AN fittings. The fittings are going to be a "10mm female flare to -4 male AN" and a "1/8 pipe to -4 male AN". Then use like a 22" -4 AN line.

in the end it will be a lot faster and cheaper to just buy the set from earls. Building your own can be a real pain and in pricey.

Depending on who and where you get your parts, I agree. If you need help with lines give me a call or PM.
