Hey guys, another question for you i finally got my car rolling under it's own power, but the brakes are in rough shape i took the rear drum's off one was squeeling really bad and the other was seized on, i got both off and sanded down the drums with 80grit sandpaper, they will now roll freely, the brake master cylinder is filled with fluid, i drove the car out of my garage and i had to put the brake pedal to the floor just to get it to brake at a walking pace, What is my problem here im sure i could use new shoes on the back, and new pads and rotor's upfront, what do you guys suggest?, i would like powerful brakes what would be some good upgraded brake component's without going to disk's in the rear?, thanks again

Make sure your rear shoes are adjusted out against the drum. It it will cause excessive pedal travel.

Brake pedal to the floor could be either the the shoes out of adjustment, air in the lines, or bad master cylinder.
