Re: Feeler: Twin Turbo 383 Project Car

Actually I just saw some pictures of the new ZR1 yesterday...yeah its orgasmic. Anyways I'm in need of money so thats why its up for sale. I have too many toys as it is. So fellas! Who has some deep pockets?!

Oh and with this set up the TPI was going to be the cork on the whole deal. So I dont think 1,000 hp would be possible. The turbos max out around 700hp.
This was going to be a low revving, fast boosting, torque monster.

True, but a better intake plenum is only a few hundred dollars away for the buyer, so he has that option. Also, it's really only the runners being the real restriction. But I like your concept though, as peak numbers mean crap, but power under the curve is what it's all about. Just hope the new owner runs some sticky tires, because 700-HP is no joke....

Re: Feeler: Twin Turbo 383 Project Car

It isnt listed on there right now. But I paid 1300 plus shipping for it. The turbos have external wastegates which is better then some others on there. Well its going to require fab work I can go into all the details with you if your serious about buying it. You will also need a fuel management system which I'm also selling. If your going to be running alot of boost your going to need to have your engine set up for that also. So there are alot of things people dont consider with these bolt on kits. So you may or may not need other stuff?
The turbo kit comes with
2 T3/T4 turbos
2 wastegates
2 stainless turbo headers "thick flanges"
2 blow off valves
boost controller
exhaust piping
Intercooler fabricated to fit between the frame rails
fuel pressure regulator

Specs on turbo
.57 compressor wheel trim mapped for low & high boost setups
Oil fitting gaskets & mounting studs included
Capable of producing over 450 horsepower
wet float bearings & properly balanced
3" inlet diameter with a 2" outlet
.50 A/R compressor housing
.63 A/R turbine housing
1/8 NPT oil inlet
T3/T4 hybrid
