91 rs roller - Toledo, OH

I've recently purchased a 73 camaro, and that means the 91 has to go - quick. I'm looking to get $500, but I will entertain any serious offer that can have the car gone by the end of the weekend.

I will try to get pictures up today. No motor, tranny, or computer, but otherwise complete. T-Tops are in good shape, never leaked. The original wheels will not be going with it, but the wheels that I got with the 73 will (they don't match, which is why i'm keeping them off the 91)

Like i said, I will entertain any offers - I just really dont want it to go to the junk yard, and thats where it will endup monday if nobody is interested.

Re: 91 rs roller - Toledo, OH

pics now posted for everyone - It took me longer than I wanted to get the pictures, so its going to be a few more days before I have to make the decision on it. Probably until the end of this week. Excuse the tiedowns everywhere, I had to use them while moving it, and they just kindof stayed there. Also, the color of the car is cobalt blue metallic - not dust black as seen in the pictures. Its been in a dusty tent/popup garage for about a year now, and has gotten a bit dusty.

Re: 91 rs roller - Toledo, OH

Car was originally teal, and no, it wasnt spray bombed. It had a Maaco paint job a few years ago. Rust isn't horrible . Passenger fender has a spot about 2 inches long, 1 inch wide. There is a section on the driverside quarter panel as well. I have attached some older pictures to get an idea of what it looked like before the dust settled on it. These are fairly accurate pictures still.

Re: 91 rs roller - Toledo, OH

honestly, i'm not sure about underneath. its in a popup garage right now, and the ground is failry muddy, and I'm not inclined to get under it to check until I get it moved. That should be sometime this week. Will let you know when I can, though I can say that before it went in to storage, the only place that had rust on the underside was on the back tail panel. Frame was good and solid.

More pictures of interior. These are from before the interior was taken apart. The pieces are still in this shape, but the dash is taken apart (all pieces are there, not more than a few hours to put back together).

Re: 91 rs roller - Toledo, OH

I do not have a way to deliver it - that is the responsibility of the buyer. I can tell you that to get my 73 from NC to here, I used a truck and a tow dolley (rented from American RentAll - $45 / day). This worked well enough to get that distance. I have a few people interested in it right now, though nothing is finalizez yet (AKA - no cash in hand).

Re: 91 rs roller - Toledo, OH

Yeah, it'll go back together fine. I was in the process of converting it to put my carbed 400 in, so I took the dash apart to pull the computer. Let me know if your coming by on saturday - it is still for sale.

Sorry dude, Ive had some issus with my car and need to spend some money on that before I go buying any profit making stuff right now. If you still got it when that is said and done maybe, that and I also noticed the rear bumper was Fubared up in the corner. Sorry.

Re: 91 rs roller - Toledo, OH

Yes, there is a dent in the rear bumper on the passenger corner. That is one reason why the price is so low. At the $500 mark, nobody should be expecting a mint vehicle - period. This car does need some work, but much less than most cars priced at this level. If I had the time, I'm sure I could get double what I'm asking - but I don't.

Re: 91 rs roller - Toledo, OH

Get it out wash it and take some new pics. The dirt covered pile is turning some away. If I had the cash to blow right now I would come get it, I just dont have drive train at the moment for it and it would sit for awhile before it bacame useful or profitable.

Re: 91 rs roller - Toledo, OH

Havent had the chance to wash it (and i'm probably not going to have that chance), but here are some new pictures now that its out. The tiedown straps in the front are holding up the exhaust and the driveshaft. This really has to go soon (like by monday).

Re: 91 rs roller - Toledo, OH

Not to shabby. The ching spoiler is gots a hole in it. I got a rear Bumper cover after all, its Red though. So whats it look like underneath??

I also got a fender but I think its the wrong side.

If I had a drive train for it I would jump al over this NOW.

If its still around in a few weeks maybe if the price it right.

Re: 91 rs roller - Toledo, OH

Underneath is a mixed bag. at the very rear, going across the back behind the gfx theres alot of rust. The floors are moderate, and the actual frame rails are in good shape. Its not going to be around past monday all in one piece. If there are any particular parts you are interested in, let me know. As it stands right now, I am probably going to part it out come monday.

Re: 91 rs roller - Toledo, OH

Whats your bottom doller to get it gone?? Your going to have fun parting it out and steel for scrap isnt worth a dime at the moment.

I can save it from being destroyed and it will run and drive again. Just give me a price I cant refuse.

Re: 91 rs roller - Toledo, OH

You are right, scrap isnt worth a whole lot right now - but the t-tops, dash (dashpad is in perfect shape btw), rear hatch assembly, door panels etc are easily worth more than the $500 im asking. The way I see it is that in a days time I can disassemble enough stuff to sell either here or on ebay to get more than what I'm asking. From what I've seen looking through here as well as other sources, $500 is already below bottom dollar for a roller, even with the minor dings and cracks this ones got. I'll tell you what though, if you just want it for replacing some parts on a rust bucket, I'd be willing to working something out for it once I get the parts off of it that i'm going to sell. I'm not going to screw around with trying to sell any fenders, quarters, hood etc - too big and not worth it.

Re: 91 rs roller - Toledo, OH

All I,m saying is that Ive picked up cars in this kinda shape WITH drivetrains ( not running 100% but running) for $300. Just saying. I dont NEED it, just would store it with a few others that I have and wait till I could get a dirve train together and resell it.

Good luck parting it out if thats what you do, just a shame when I see decent cars go to the scrap.
