1992 3000gt sl 220hp 5 sp. manual indianapolis, in

Car runs soundly, 156k on body, 50-70 on motor, tranny was freshened up by previous owner, redline synthetic gear oil, full leather interior, upgraded ignition coils w/ 9mm high performance wires, high flow water pump and 2.5in. radiator, battery replaced last winter, a pair of extra tires(new), kevlar II timing belt, weak shifter bushings replaced w/ bearings(awesome feel), ecu has been rebuilt, rear strut tower bar, cold air intake system, cat delete pipe, a/f ratio gauge, stainless steel clutch line(once again awesome feel). (317) 664-0661 MY PHONE ISN'T WORKING RIGHT NOW, better to e-mail; PARTIAL NON-VEHICLE TRADES WELCOME. please don't delete this post, the reason why I'm posting to a camaro forum is because I'm interested in directly trading for parts for my 1985 iroc-z looking to do an ls conversion w/6sp. and any chassis, suspension, brake modifications; especially a 1le rear disc package need this gone before I ship out to boot camp, 2500 obo.

I'm sorry but I think you should be banned. It already ticks me off that people join this forum, don't post anything and just go straight to the classifieds, then on top of it, you sell your rice machine on here instead of a Camaro which is what this part of the forum was for.

I'm not a mod, but if I was, you'd be gone by now. You reply to your own thread doesn't even belong in that section, there is a part called "Parts Wanted" that you could have asked for parts.

Re: 1992 3000gt sl 220hp 5 sp. manual indianapolis, in

I can tell you've been holding on to this for a while now, I'm not going to ridicule you because it's all true. However, I take offense to you calling the 3000gt a rice machine seeing as how it's performance specs outclass that of the 3rd gen f-body and it was modelled after Ferrari. I like performance cars, I don't care where they come from as long as they provide an enjoyable experience and possess true inner and outer beauty. The third gen. camaro is such a car, the 3000gt is as well. I'm sure you're not the only one who has looked on this ad with disdain, however I tried to state as clearly as possible that the sale of this car directly influences the fate of a 1985 camaro iroc-z and I think other people may have noticed that before they decided to post a negative reply. I'm 18 years old, I'm naive, but not stupid. The camaro is a very different machine from the 3000gt and I'm not comfortable with asserting my own opinions on things that I don't understand or a vehicle I haven't yet formed a strong bond with, but I'm learning. Furthermore, the main purpose of my second post was to signify the end of this thread's usefulness; I'll look it over a little more, but I couldn't find a button to delete the thread at that time, I'll look again. It takes a genuinely good person to show respect to some one they don't know and will never meet. I don't think I'm there yet, but I'm trying. good day

Re: 1992 3000gt sl 220hp 5 sp. manual indianapolis, in

I didn't realize that you are 18, my sincere apology goes to you. Also, as far as a 3000gt being a higher class than the third gen F body, and here's why.

The 3000gt was at the time, mitsubishi's best and highest model car. Unfortunately, it couldn't hang with a TTA, or the firehawk with the T ram which were the best of the third gen's. You can't compare apples to oranges in that respect. If that was the case, I could compare my 89 formula 350 against a mitsubishi mirage. You see the problem.

I have owned a VR4 and it wasn't anything special, my 95 supra was faster and outhandled the VR4. I gave that all up because I know a superior car when I see one. I now have two firebirds and a trailer queen camaro, all third gens. I don't missed the imports, they just don't have the reliability and the cost to benefit ratio.

I understand you are still learning and therefore, I will give you the knowledge that you are looking for. If you still need performance parts or restoration parts, PM me. If you need stereo, I know the perfect guy for that and he is a member on this board. I can also possibly arrange free shipping if needed. PM me with anything you need and sorry for me ripping on an 18 year old kid.
