Car: Black 1988 Iroc-Z
1988 Iroc-Z 305/t-tops: Only 9300 miles! (TX)
Hey guys! Here's the deal...I found an incredibly clean 1988 Iroc with just 9100 miles on it and made an impulse buy. I absolutely LOVE the car, but I can't afford it. To make matters worse, I only have a two car garage and already have two cars. I obviously don't intend to leave the Iroc outside, and I really don't want to have to scrape frost off my windshield to go to work this winter, either. I have driven it 200 miles since I got it. Carfax checks out and miles are legit. VIN & RPO codes verify that this is a legit factory IROC.
It is incredibly clean with no rust anywhere. Has been stored in climate controlled garage its whole life. Black with gray interior. I was a professional car audio installer in a previous life and I have meticulously added an Alpine MP3 deck, Boston Acoustics factory replacement 4 X 6's & 6 X 9's, and an older Bazooka NOS 8" sub I had from another car. I used factory adapter plugs on everything, nothing at all was cut, and sale of the car can be back to factory audio (Delco cassette deck) if you prefer (factory equipment will be provided either reinstalled or in a box at new buyer's discretion). PO had removed factory striping and door decals, but does not appear to be factory delete from what I can gather from the RPO sticker, as it had factory blue stripe. I also have a brand new Phoenix Graphics decal kit for it including IROC door decals and IROC stripe kit that will go with the car.
It is a 305 TPI with auto/OD trans and pristine glass t-tops. Factory posi car. Absolutely no wear or tear anywhere...this car has been babied. I know I am going to kick myself for selling it, but I just don't have the room or the money for it right now.
Asking $14,000 for it as it sits and can come down a bit if you don't want stereo, but even at that I am losing money. Photos are viewable on my website and additional photos are available on request.

I realize it won't be easy to even break even, but I'm going to at least try at the start. Price is somewhat negotiable, but I'm not going to give the thing away either. I've looked for a long long time for a solid third gen, and as far as original survivor type cars go, I haven't seen a better one. 14k is just a starting point. People on here just want to beat everyone down to death, so you almost HAVE to start high, right?

Okay, after doing some looking I realized I will undoubtedly lose some cash on the deal. Price has been reduced to $12,900 OBO. I also installed the graphics kit and I think it looks better. Check it out and contact me if interested.

If it doesn't make reserve, my dad wants the car. He wants me to try and sell it there first though since it had already been listed. Thanks for asking, though.

Looks like a repaint to me not because of the emblem either, i can just tell by the way its laid on, it's a little dull for black and i can see orange peel too, but not to knock the car or anything, nice car, it just looks like it has been done IMHO
