This car has been in the family since 2014. My dad purchase it as he loved the way it sounded and on impulse.
I have taken this car on a few road trips including driving it from Oregon to Phoenix AZ where it currently resides in 2017. I also drove it from Phoenix to N.California round trip in 2019. I've gone on a couple club drives and use it to run errands. It's always been a reliable driver.
It is originally white and was repainted as can be seen in the photos. The doors have been jammed in black, engine bay and and under trunk lid as well.
The sticker from under console was not present at purchase so I ordered the vehicle invoice online out of curiosity. It does have the following codes G80, G92, J65, LB9, N96 - 16 inch wheels, DX3 - Stripe delete. It was delivered with California emissions package and it passed AZ emissions after I had the injectors serviced and had a new cat installed. A/C works, new compressor and other necessary bits replaced a few years back.
To the best of my knowledge everything works. The cruise control can be a bit fussy to engage but does work. I had a new convertible top installed last year. Overall in good condition. Total car miles appears to be 170,567. $16,500.00 - price drop to $13,500 - SOLD

I’ve been giving this some thought and was looking at the Hagerty valuation tool. I think that while the car is a fantastic car and that I can use it as a DD I think this qualifies as “fair” given the things that could be fixed or updated. I’m dropping price to $13,500 which I feel is more correct for this car.
thank you. I feel blessed to have owned it. It is still an absolute thrill to drive but I’ve had it in my garage for five years and I have other automotive goals. This is one of those cars that once gone, I know there won’t be another like it for me. I’ve driven first gen cars and they are charming but this one is a sports
car.
I'd put the car on BAT (bring a trailer) and/or Hemmings auctions. Low listing fees with these and they do move a lot of cars without all the crap of Craigslist and Marketplace. .
And there is an ache in my belly and a sadness at no longer owning it. It really was a special car to drive and own. I wish great fortune to the new owner. He knew exactly what it was. Has owned them in the past and he was grinning ear to ear and embarked on the 100 plus mile ride home. Top up ac blasting on this hot Arizona summer day.
