wanting another '92 Z28
Hi all! My name is Jonathon I am currently on deployment in Afghanistan with the US Army - I will be home next month for two weeks of leave... I am looking for a specific Camaro that I owned about 10 years ago, I've always regretted losing it and after what I've been through out here I deserve to spoil myself a little...
The Camaro needs to be a 1992 Z28 convertible; the two most important items are a solid engine and a clean title. A little basic maintenance or TLC and minor body/paint issues are not a big deal as long as the price is right. I would be interested in either the 305 or 350, prefer an automatic and a manual top - in fact the only real powered options I really want are locks & windows, everything else is just more weight. The closer to original the better however a few small performance upgrades would be welcomed.
I would really like to get the ball rolling on this as soon as I can and with any luck I can have possession before I get in for leave in February. For obvious reasons reaching me by phone is an issue but I can call back to the states if needed, the best way to communicate will be via this site or my email "mister_hudson@ yahoo.com".
I would arrange for a transport for the car if needed so delivery would be easy for both parties. As far as payment - it doesn't really matter but the more secure the better, PayPal or Money Order or whatever works best.

Re: wanting another '92 Z28
I did forget to mention an important piece of information - the price...
I would like to find one in the range of $5,000 or less...
Again a few minor repairs are not an issue as long as the price is right. I've got a list of drivetrain modifications I'd like to do anyway so I've got no problems getting my hands dirty...

Hey all - thanks for all of the responses, there are some GREAT rides out there! I found the perfect one right here on thirdgen!
You'll be seeing a lot more from me in the near future as I get it setup and modified the way I've always wanted to.
Thanks again!

Did the deal work out w/ the guy in Canada? Have you picked out your Z06 yet or are you going for a house first?
I've been buying up a bunch of parts to get her restored when I get back to the states this summer... My wife is a little over everything that I've been buying but she's looking forward to the summer drives with the top down!
Thanks again - you have no idea how happy I am with her! I'll keep in touch & update you on the progress!

Re: wanting another '92 Z28
I canceled the trip to sell the black car. still have it and still looking to sell. we decided to build a house, they started on it monday, once its complete and were in, i'll be looking to buy something, C5 Z or 5th gen RS/SS maybe. but would still like a 92 Z coupe.
In a week i'll be retreiving my RS vert and start tinkering with that for a while.
Glad to hear that shes giving you joy. looking forward to seeing updates down the road. I'm happy shes in good hands.
