Here's 3 alarms I've been considering to replace the current one I have.

Quality wise, DEI hands down. They now own well over half the brands on the market today.

However, that being said, an alarm is only as good as your installer. You could install an $800 Clifford AG4 incorrectly and it wouldn't be any better than the $49 local special.
I highly recomend that anyone having an alarm installed find a reputable dealer and pay a few bucks more for someone who is qualified to do the install. You'd be supprised how many hack alarm installers are out there these days. Ask to see some of their work and if they back their installation.
