RIP: My Stereo

Well my stereo finally just stopped working. I got my car early July, and to begin the CD player never worked. I mean, this is one of the cheapest HU's I've ever seen, so I wasn't surprised. But now it just stopped working. I was driving to the next city and all of a sudden all four speakers just quit and started buzzing. Then my car smelled like burnt plastic for a day. I was on my way to my grandpa's house when it happened, and since he's a radio genius he took a look at it. Of course, it worked when I started the car. But he said it was probably the transistor, since it stopped working again when it got hot.

Then a few days later, after it had "overheated" a few more times, it just quit totally. Hasn't come back on since. The speakers still work, but the HU is blown. This sucks, because everywhere I go I do so in silence. That's too much thinking.

I've wanted a new stereo anyways, but atleast I had the radio before.
