4th of July project

Well, as title implies I did some work today. I had the day off and have been wanting to do something like this for a while. Its not a far out custom speaker job like I have seen around here and on some of my friend's cars, but I am pretty happy with the way it all turned out. BTW, they are Rockford Fosgate 4x6 speakers. My friend gave them to me because he got rid of his ride. They actually wouldn't fit in the stock location because the magnet is too thick. I was not about to start hacking on the AC ducts to make a few speakers fit, so I came up with this plan. The grill are actually left over from when I installed a set of Boston Acoustics in my exgirlfriend's car. Came in handy to save them after all!! Hope you like!! Oh and the tweeters are Infinity Reference, I got them on sale when I bought a pair of Infinity Reference 6x9s. It all sounds really good too!!

There is a black dash mat over the dash itself, had an unsightly crack!! I guess because of the glare through the windshield, it came out that strange color! The grills are round!! There were left over from another set installed in a different car. I think it looks better than just a bare speaker though...The most important thing is that it all sounds great!

Looks like s**t to me. Sorry, but it's looks like you put paper plates over the speakers. It just doesn't flow at all.
