Factory GTA radio
Does anyone know what the factory part # is for a '88 radio and the factory part # for the gain control switch for the subwoofer of the same year? I've bought this GTA for 800 bucks and the kid threw out these 2 items and I'm trying to restore it back to original condition. I finally got it running and now I'm taking care of the sound system. He also threw out the factory prom when he replaced the prom also but that's another story. Thanks for any help.

Dont know if this is the delco part number but, looking at my stock radio now, it sayes:
Model 16067693 SerialXXXXXXX
B.C. 7693
Delco
Matamoros, Mexico
Hope that helps. Unfortnatly it is a tape player only. I love my CDs too much to leave it in for now. I think I remember reading in the manual that you need the Stearing Wheel with the controls to reactivate the unit. Luckly the previous owner kept my car bone stock with all papers including the sticker.

Thanks Rydex, that helps! It helps a lot. Unfortunately this kid left nothing. Not even an owners manual. I'm flying blind with this one right now. I'll eventually get it together though. The car looks great. No one can believe I paid so little for this car. Now all I need is the gain switch for the subwoofer. I don't like that empty whole there. As for the steering control you just have to hold in the mute button to unlock it. That I did find out.

You would want to check that you have the small amp for the UQ7, you can see it by removing the PS plastic panel, right under the map pocket :
