Amp kicks on when FM source but not CD

Amp kicks on when FM source but not CD
I have just recently installed a mtx amp and a 12" kenwood tornando sub because well i got it for free....i also have a sony xplod cd player. well anyway when the radio is on the amp kicks on and the subs bump then when i switch the source to cd...amp kicks off!!! Any suggestions?

Wrong blue wire
You have the remote for your amp hooked up to the power antanea output, there's another one that's the remote for the amp. Usually the'll be a blue, and a blue and white wire check it out you've just got it on the wrong one.
