Wow, more replies. As you can tell I haven't been on the board in the past week or so
Here's an update with more info.
First, thanks to everyone for the kind words. A lot of work has gone into this box and I am very happy with the way it's shaping out. It will be even better once carpeted or painted.
I'm not growing out of loud music and contrary to belief my car does a good deal more than produce just bass. Unfortunately, there are too many kids out there that think that bass is the only thing worth reproducing so people with a lot of equipment get stereotyped quickly. I don’t live up to those stereotypes - my frontstage is more than capable of keeping up with my substage. Then again, that's what you would expect when you've spent this amount of money on any kind of stereo.
I have started to grow out of the TA. That’s not to say I don’t like the car – I love it and would never dream of selling it (mainly because I would take a bath on it. I spent around $10k on it this year and it still doesn’t have a complete interior or matching paint). It’s just not practical as a daily driver, let alone as a daily driver for someone in college in a state with snowy winters. I’m going to buy a more ‘normal’ car with lower maintenance costs to get me through my next two years of school at which point the TA will probably get a complete restore not to mention the twin turbo ls1 I’ve been dreaming of. Since I won’t be driving the car for the next two years I have no need for the sub box. I can always build another in two years time. The stereo in its entirety (deck, amps, active crossovers, active equalizer, subs, components, etc) will get moved into whatever I end up buying. If no one wants to buy the box now it’s not a big deal. Sure, extra pocket money would be nice but I don’t really need it. I’m fine letting the box sit for a while if no one is interested.
The box
The box was made for two 10’s and is around 3.25 cubes. It has roughly $150-200 worth of materials in it. I know I could have cut the costs down but I decided to buy resin locally because I didn’t want to buy a 5 gallon jug and have to get rid of 3 gallons of the stuff. It’s completely bulletproof and can stand up to anything (including my 175 pound body standing on it). It’s also a MAJOR PITA to get out of the hatch if you use safety nuts on the subs. There’s no where to grab it unless you pull the subs, making it very hard to get it out quickly – a good anti-theft measure. If anyone is interested I’m willing to finish the box (bondo/carpet of any color).
As mentioned it won’t fit in a vert.
Again, no big deal if no one is interested but I won’t have any major issues parting with it.

I look at it as good pratice for the next car. I'm probably going to end up doing another fibeglass box for it along with fiberglassing custom door pods. It should be pretty sweet.
