Yeah, its me and the wife's favorite band! We saw them at Atlanta; truly unbelievable. We were planning to see them in Atlanta, Myrtle Beach and Charlotte this March but the band they were openning up for backed out!
Have you heard of the singer's (Liv) little sisters band? Midnattsol? Great Stuff!

Re: What do you listen to at a buck ten?
I love myself some metal, but this is one of my favorite cruisin songs:
Pride and Glory (Zakk Wylde the guitarist form Ozzy's first major solo band) singing "Losin Your Mind". I think the song fits the attitude of going a "buck ten"... Just makes you wanna drop the hammer!
http://youtube.com/watch?v=wz_R9XOQi_8
Otherwise, some good grooving blues-based metal always works great for cruisin, fastor slow. Spiritual Beggars is another favorite. Mike Ammot from Carcass/Arch Enemy is the guitarist in Spiritual Beggars btw.

Re: What do you listen to at a buck ten?
Not in any particular order, but these top ones give me chills. Pretty much anything AC/DC, Soundgarden/Audioslave/Chris Cornell, Zombie (Rob or White), Disturbed, Van Halen, NIN get me going.
Soundgarden - Jesus Christ Pose
Soundgarden - Outshined
Soundgarden - Kickstand
Alice in Chains - When We Die Young
AC/DC - Shoot to Thrill
Van Halen - Panama
Audioslave - Better Bomb / We got the whip (the hook in particular)
Disturbed - Rise
Disturbed - Stupify
Rob Zombie - Two Lane Blacktop
Rob Zombie - Super Beast
The Union Underground - Turn Me On Mr. Deadman
Econoline Crush - Surefire
Guns'n'Roses - You're Crazy
Rammstien - DuHast
NIN - Head Like a Hole
Stabbing Westward - Sleep
There's some pretty neat stuff from Rammstein and Tatu remixes they did together that sound awesome. I know I know...Tatu, lame, but that remixed stuff sounds awesome together.

Re: What do you listen to at a buck ten?
I've been trying to figure out the title of this thread since I first saw it posted
I got it now though
I can't say I drive 110 too often though, I try to keep my car off of the highway because rock chips scare me
Anyway, 70 or 80 through the back roads is plenty fast with no worries of speed traps. For that, infected mushroom is pretty fun, make sure you have a decent system so you can blast it and get the bass out of it

Black Stone Cherry has an awesome album for driving fast. if you like Shinedown you'll like them. I think some of Shinedown's members have brothers that are in Black Stone Cherry.
