sony speakers

im looking at trading my exhaust for new speakers and what not for me car, the speakers are new and unused. anything i need to look at for? and bad sony's?

I have sony's.. they are alright if you like quiet music. but thats it.

Sony's distort easier at louder volumes and their quality is not as great as they used to be 10+ years ago. They are okay for you're average listener but better can be had for the same price if you look around.

Stay away from Sony mobile audio equipment. Their speakers suck. Their decks suck. And their amps suck. I put some in my wife's car a few years ago. After six months of constantly having to replace components, I installed Kenwood throughout and have not had any problems since.

iv never had a problem with sony, i have a sony xplod head unit, and xplod speakers all through my car, not including the subs and amp i just ordered on ebay

so far i love they way they sound and they look good

I agree I love my sony xplodes(6x9)that I got in the sail pannels and once I get some more money saved up im gonna be buying a pair of 4x6s for the dash and i listen to rock/metal
