How about leaving the stereo in the factory location and attach the gauges under the centre vents.
You could get a 3 gauge pod for a hummer and invert it under the vents.
Just a thought.

the dash vent space is too small also you need to allow the radio to vent if its got all sides covered it wont vent properly
