Djsexay/rezn8r/??? Speaker kick panels
Anyone still making them, or did they go completely out of production ?

unfortunately, they aren't being made anymore to my knowledge. I'm in need of a set 2 since I swapped to a 4th gen dash, hopefully someone will pick up the torch.
the qlogic qforms aren't bad with some reinforcement, but their regular price is high for what you get out of the box

Re: Djsexay/rezn8r/??? Speaker kick panels
I was just wondering cause i've had my set posted fs for a while in the interior fs forum, and nobody seems to be looking for them, or dont know what they're looking at.
Figured maybe they were still avail and my price was higher than they are avail for, haha.

Just be aware that the qforms tend to stick out and prevent you from extending your left leg.
It's even worse if you have a 5speed.
Best to get a set of custom made kick panel pods.

The ones im talking about, were "custom" that were being mass produced, they have plenty of foot room even if you are manual, thus me not seeing why nobody has bought em yet.

They cost around $300 for the pair.
IMO take a spare set of kick panels to a stereo shop and spend $200-300 for a custom set of kicks that will give you more room.
OR...try to make a set for yourself with MDF and fibreglass. Worst case is you ruin a spare set of kicks. There are some good guys over on www.canadiancaraudio.com who can help.
Maybe a trip to Selective on Millcreek to see what Davis has to say. He knows his stuff and is reasonable priced.

Here is a shot of the qforms in my car when I was competing.

It would be nice if someone that was good with fiberglass bought em, made a new mould, and started producing them again, I'm guessing the last guy with the moulds disappeared.

Also, to save weight on the door, the vinyl part of the buildout (where the bowtie is attached), is made from balsa wood (very light and easy to mold).
I would still go with custom kick panels as foot space in our cars are at a premium.

Mid in the kick and the tweet molded into the A-pillars playing either on or off axis.
