zone change

I live in Australia and bought a Pioneer AVH P-1400DVD from the U.S. The problem is that the dvd is a zone 1 player and over here we are in zone 4. Is there any way that I can switch this stereo to accept zone 4 dvd's? I think I may have to copy all my dvds and change them to zone 4. What I would really like to do is to copy the dvds onto the usb that is built into the stereo. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: zone change

I have heard about this kind of problem before, but never heard of a solution. Hopefully you can figure this one out and pass the word

Re: zone change

There are a few sites that tell you what code to use to get into it but not for mine because it is a newer model. I have a Pioneer AVH P-1400DVD. It is the two din model that I worked at to get it installed in my TA. Looks and works good except I cant play zone four. I understand that I may be able to copy onto the USB section. I will see and let you guys know.
