Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 9-bolt, 3.27
How about a before pic?
I'll be putting some pics up on my site after I get it together, and I'll post a link to it.
I, too would like to see what others have done. Right now, I'm looking for some ideas on amp placement. I want to do something different!
------------------
Working on:
'84 Z28 LG4 305
Added dual elec fans.
145 MPH IROC Speedo
Building 430 HP 350
using primarily GMPP parts.
Block is in shop!
Starting to look like the Kicker poster child!

I hope that pic shows up, first one i ever posted... Anyways, its not a great pic, but it shows the amps mounted flush INSIDE my back seat. The seat folds up and is still perfectly functional. I used a noise surpressor wired to the amps, cuz all the wires are awfully close together. Thats a seven channel crossover in the middle, a 4 channel on the right, and (2) 2 channel amps on the left. All are Alpine duo B circuit amps. (not the newest, but they sure are clean!) The sound quality is great, thats all i need from them, they run my mids and highs.

Anyway, here's a few pics of my car so far:
I don't have current pics of my subs/box/amps from the IROC yet, but here is the back of my 86:
Here is a pic of one of the boxes I built recently. This is identical to the box in my IROC, except that the cover piece will extend around my amps in the IROC.
