any problems with RF subs?

Has anyone else experenced any problems with Rockford subs. I had a couple 10s and the spiders went on both of them. I think I am having the same problems with my 12s

The 2 10's I had a punch 100 running them (scored 138db in a sealed box)and the 12's I have a 500a2 running (non tested yet)them.

Anyone else experiances these problems. I am unhappy with the preformance of the RF punch XLC subs

We had very few XLCs or any other Punch subs ever come back where I worked at school. Generally they are extremely durable. The early 10" subs had all sorts of problems with the spiders separating, so they redesigned them a couple years ago and started calling them XLCs. The old ones just had the RF logo on the dust cap with no other distinctions. The XLCs should say XLC under the logo.

yeah jim is right...they are pretty durable...when i worked at the local stereo shop i never saw one come back...i have 2-12'' rockfords....they are ok...they've held up fine....i don't like the sound that much...could be a bit deeper..thats why i'm going with 1-12'' downfiring Audiobahn Ultra Excursion sub hehe
