600 or 750 CFM carb?

I just recently put in a new recon 4-bolt main 350 in my third gen. I replaced the cam with a 280/465 cam and plan on headers pipes. I need a new carb and am not sure if should go with a 750 or 600. Is a 750 too much carb for my engine? I don't really plan on any other mods to the engine except maybe a different intake with the new carb. Thanks in advance for any help.

Jester, you must be 750 happy!

A 750 would be fine if you live in fairly low altitude, if you can get to an ocean in less than a day or you dont live in the mountains a 750 is fine. If you get a holley I would suggest replacing the power valve with 6.5 PV and recalibrating the secondaries to open slower.

With your mods and a 600 cfm would work great also in factory from.
Good luck!

Car: 82 camaro SC
Engine: 350
Transmission: 700r4
If it's stock except for the cam change, 600 cfm is plenty big.

------------------
350 with stealth intake, holley carb, 470 lift cam. 700r4 with .5 boost valve, vette servo, tci lock-up kit, B&M megashifter. Richmond 3.73 gears, powertrax locker, timkin bearings, synthetic lube. Custom 3 inch single into 2 2.5 pipes. 1 1/2 drop springs, 1 5/16 solid front sway bar, 1 inch rear bar, custom subframe connectors, custom LCA relocation brackets. Kobel ground FX, currant red metallic paint. Lots of other stuff...
