MAT Sensor Location, 1986 305 4-bbl Auto Trans
Greetings,
Just had a new Edelbrock 3701 Intake Manifold installed and I am now getting Trouble Code 23. MAT Sensor (Low Temp).
My suspicion is that the MAT sensor is supposed to be mounted on the intake manifold itself and either the Edelbrock intake doesn't support it, my Mechanic didn't hook it up or the sensor is bad.
Please let me know which is right, what it is supposed to look like, where it should be attached and the implications if I never hook it up?
Please include a picture or diagram if possible
Thanks,
Big Ed

For a carb'd car, code 23 is TPS. Make sure it's plugged in, the harness isn't pinched under something, etc.
