Dual Inlet Plumbing

It would appear that the heater hoses seen below would interfere with a typical dual feed fuel line (on a Holley 650 with electric choke). Would angled AN fittings of some sort eliminate the issue? If so or not, recommendations and/or pics would be invaluable.

Re: Dual Inlet Plumbing

I have both straight and angled fittings for my 4150. The angled ones drop the feed down, or up, but it's hard to say whether they will clear for sure. Might just behoove you to change the heater hoses so they are routed different. Even with the angled fittings it may still want to contact

Re: Dual Inlet Plumbing

My end around for that was to reroute the heater hoses as suggested.
Dorman has 5/8" and 3/4" right angled fittings that I fixed to the heater core stubs at the firewall. Hoses are then directed behind the valve cover towards the passenger side inner fender. Strain relief is by way of an Adel clamp attached to a strut support bolt (there's room for an extra nut on mine) and the hoses then approach the engine at close to 90 degrees.
I did this originally to keep my valve cover from being buried by the hoses as I was frequenting the rocker arms on a regular basis at one time.
As a benefit, there's plenty of room for fuel lines.
The end of the dual feed line that attaches to the fuel feed line is a -6 45 degree AN fitting.

Re: Dual Inlet Plumbing

I use a 45 degree fitting at the end of mine. With my hoses originally setup like yours, this allowed the fuel line to go underneath the heater hose and in front of the valve cover. I now have a 90 degree heater hose fitting on my intake manifold, and the 45 degree fuel fitting allows the fuel line to go over top of the heater hose.
