just a quick question, is the holly doublepumper a 4150 or 4160 series carb? i see all these brackets in catologs and they say "fits 4150, 4160 and 4500 holly series carbs"

I ordered a bracket for the 4150/4160 for my 750 DP. Fits like a charm. They did mess up though, I was on the phone and telling him my setup, he sent me the 1 that bolts under the entire carb, you need a special throttle cable for this. I think Spectre makes the adjustable throttle cable with no kickdown for holley carbs, like 10$ too

Holley still makes them. I bought one for the 4011 on my Buick awhile back from PAW.
I bought one back in '91 myself. IIRC wasn't it also made of aluminium.
BTW: the 4010/11 is sort of based on the 4150, but dosn't have removable float bowls & metering plates. Insead it's designed more like the Carter AFB, where the whole top comes off.

4150 and 4160 are square-flange carbs, as opposed to the 4155 and 4165 which are spreadbore. 50 is vac sec single pump, 60 is man sec dbl pump. 4500 are the Dominator series.
IMO a 4010/4011 carb isn't a real Holley. They don't produce the power that a real Holley does, and they don't tune the same way. I would recommend getting that emissions / gas mileage / grocery cart replacement thing off of there and getting a real Holley if you have an application that actually demands so much fuel that it "requires" a dual-feed line.
