Are some types of Carbs/Intakes good or bad for cornering?

Are some types of Carbs/Intakes good or bad for cornering?
I am going to build an SCCA class car and I would like to do It with dual carbs and a tunnel ram. would this setup be bad for cornering? What Kind of setup can I build for a motor that makes peak HP above 7000 RPM and has to handle 1G+ around corners??

Hardcore hillbillie offroaders switch to fuel injection because the rough terrain can cause too many problems.
There are mods you can do to help (jet extensions, etc) but there's only so much you can do.
The attached image will give you an idea whats going on. It took about a minute and is not entirely accurate, but is the type of situation that occurs. Just look at that and think of what's happening to your floats.

I don't know about running a tunnel ram on a road race car, but a carb isn't a huge problem. Lots of racing classes run carbs, for example Nascar. Those pictures give you an idea of what has to be done. The jets do sit lower in the bowl though. With a center hung Holley, turning won't be a problem. Jet extension and some other stuff will be needed for it to work well. Rock climbing off-roaders deal with some extreme angles and bouncing(when you are near straight up and down a carb won't function very good).

well Im just guessing that I wont be able to support 600+HP with fuel injection as cheaply as with carbs. I really like the tunnel ram though because I have always wanted to do one. I think what most of you are saying is that the carbs will be the problem and that I might be able to fix that with some jet extensions or maybe just a special kind of carb.

FYI: I can't remember the details, but the the type of Holley also makes a difference. There are the dual feed 'cathedral' bowls (center hung), and the single feed square bowls (side hung). If you are running dual carbs on a tunnel ram they'll probably be the smaller side hung floats. I dont recall the specifics, but I think side hung are better at keeping up the fuel level correct during accelleration, and the center hung are better for cornering. (could be backwards, ask around)
