I only get 13 mpg on the interstate. What's goin on the guy above said he got 22 with his 89 350. Mine is a little souped up, but *** that is a big difference. Oh well, my mods are in my sig. Is that 89 posted above a carb or fuel injected.

They only way I may be doing better than jfox55 is that when I did mine I made an effort for that tank of gas to stay out of in unitl I filled up again..........now let me tell you a few launches and I would have gotten 13 also.

like I said, that is on the interstate. I might push 14 out of it. Around town and back and fourth from work it is closer to 10-11. But I have a big problem behaving myself. Those flowmasters just sound too good to keep em quiet. And since this is my first camaro, and also my first v8 you can just imagine, all my other cars have had 4 cyl engines. So I figured I would do my first v8 right. This thing is pretty mean.

That cam and gear can't be helping mileage too much. Oh, my car gets bad mileage too, but it's on its last leg, or toes.

Mine will get about 18 around town and about 20 on the freeway. But just like jfox55 ive got the flowmasters too so it is kinda hard now-a-days to get the best mileage

Not too sure about around town, but get about 23 mpg on the interstate with my current setup, using the "black" secondary spring for the Holley. If ya don't want to check out the website, it's a Goodwrench 350, Performer RPM intake, Holley 600 cfm, and TES headers. stock T5 too.

My blown 383 QJet-equipped Malibu gets about 17 on the highway with no overdrive, no lockup converter and 2.92 rear gears. It's jetted a smidge rich and the ignition advance curve likewise is tuned more for power than economy.
My brother's dead stock 85 LG-4 Z-28 (with computer controlled QJet) knocks down 25MPGs on the interstate with overdrive manual trans and 3.23 rear gears. Best I ever heard of for a daily driven carbureted small block V-8.
Now the sick stuff..............
His 87 GTA with Miniram-injected 409 small block, 700R4 OD automatic trans and 3.27 rear gears gets 22 on the highway!
My dead stock 94 Formula with 350 LT-1 engine, 6 speed manual trans and 3.42 rear gears gets a REAL 27 MPGs!!!!! Of course, around town it's more like 12, but on the highway it's unreal how good the mileage is.

Well ...
Around town I get 17 to 18 mpg, in American gallons. In Canadian gallons it would be around 22 or so.
On the highway I'm guessing it is round 25 to 27 mpg, again in American gallons.
Nothing like a well tuned 305 with headers, 2.73 gears and a 700r4

about 14.5 on weekends when I really put the rubber down... usually about 17 on weekdays (80% highway drivin') On really long trips I have seen 20 MPG, but I gotta be tryin' real hard.

My other car has a holley with a weind (sp) x-celarater and a holley 750 on a 350. I get about 13-15 on highway. 3 speed tranny with 3.08 gears. Qjet and dual plane intake, highway have hit 20, but was going about 10mph slower.

It is equal to an "Imperial Gallon," as the British used.
(A liter is .95 of a US quart.)
So, if I'm getting 18 mpg US around town, that would equal 21.6 mpg in Canadian gallons.

After changing the gears to 3.23s, I filled up and of course tested them a bit! Then drove about 150miles freeway. Ended up with 18mpg and thats without overdrive! One of the reasons I've always liked 327s.
