I just sold a car to Gary, I didn't have any problems either. He was very polite and seemed honest about the deals we made. I did receive one part that was in a different condition than I was told. But I'll deal with it.

.....I sent $20.00 out 2 weeks ago for a couple of air boxes, never received them, no refund (as yet), currently in a running pissing contest on e-mail, and have been offered every excuse in the book. Girlfriend left them in the trunk and never mailed them, wife left me and took the kids plus had a death in the family. That is a major run of bad luck.

Oh, and I have all of the PM's regarding this transaction from him as well as all of the e-mails sent to me regarding this issue.

The proof is here. I should of came here and read this forum before going into any financial deals with this guy (Gary Kodat). It is a shame that the 1% makes the other 99% so gun shy.

The car that I sold to Gary was not running. It was only rolling chassis. In a previous post I said that one of the parts I got was not in the quality of condition he had described to me. But Gary has made everything right with me.

I just need to state for the record that i did indeed, receive my air boxes from 85yellowirocz (Gary Kodat) today. He did have a friend mail them out and they were sent out PRIORITY USPS. Well packaged and nice pieces. I am pleased with the quality.

Good communications and promptness in completing the transaction would have gone a long way to preventing this whole debacle.

I also want to say "Thank you" to fellow member bubbz89 (Dennis) for his generosity in sending another set of air boxes, for free, when it appeared that this deal was going south. Also sent PRIORITY mail, and both sets just arrived this afternoon.

Now, maybe your kids you spoke of have a chance of being raised by someone with some ethics, morals, and scruples.

If any of you used a postal money order to pay...you can contact your Post Master and he'll direct you in the proper recourse against this @sshole.
I don't deal with people w/o using credit card thru paypal unless they're someone from thirdgen who has been here a loooong time and had many transactions.
Many people don't know it but if you use a credit card you're 100% protected on internet purchases. It's a federal law. That's why ebay and paypal don't like you using credit card for purchases...they'd rather you withdraw funds from an account. You can do a charge back against crooks like this guy and even ebay or paypal can't protect them.
I've had to do this 3 times and trust me it works!

well, i think its official iv'e been ripped off by this guy. way back in march i paid him 260$ for a set of rims. i got all of the above excuses. but he just kept idling me on and on,. it took him 2 months to get the damn tires dismounted (supposedly). after weeks of excuses, he fianlly he said he would send them on the 23rd of may, i havent heard from him since and he hasnt responded to any of my pm's. i was taken big time!

over the past couple of weeks from not hearing from this guy, i have seen that he has been online, but he wont reply- this guy is cheating me on a set of rims and now my car is sitting for the 7th striaght week. i doubt he ever planned on sending them. im suprised you got your air boxes! ........I am sorry. It was a chore to get my air boxes, as you can read from the exchanges, but he did come through. But the p*ssing contest was also conducted on another post under a different topic as well. The number of people that chimed in was incredible and appreciated.

You may want to think about calling the local law enforcement agency and relate the problems that you are experiencing and be ready to provide receipts.

Yeah what RD said..... The FBI Internet crimes division tends to get results. There was a Group pruchase off of Fbody for Corbeau seats a few years back. I had a set of Targa RS's all ordered up for the Iroc. Well 6 weeks came and went.... 2 months came and went.... So I called up the company and got no answer during normal business hours and left messages on their machine with no responce. Called Corbeau about the order and no order was placed and the shop had been taken off their customer list after complaints a while ago. Other members were having similar experiences and started posting up about it. Well my brother told me about the IFCC. I gave the company a week to respond in any form possible. Then I turned it into the IFCC. I had my money back in 4 days. 2 months later I got a call as a followup. Apparently the company was right down the road from their office and went belly up 2 weeks after my initial complaint.
