BEWARE fazttoyz13 IrocZ85 Fazt87Vert Brian Blanchard from Arlington Heights, IL
Guy sold me a totally different TV cable then the one he showed in the picture.
This one is incorrect and after I pointed out
Pic he showed me of what I was buying.
Pic of the wrong cable I got.
When I called him on the obvious difference between the pics and even showed him a pic of the cable installed and how it was way to short to reach he wouldn't even acknowledge he sent me a different cable.
You can do a search for him on this board under IrocZ85 and Fazt87Vert
He has to use different names I guess because other people have had problems with him.
On ebay he is fazttoyz13
His real name is Brian Blanchard from Arlington Heights, IL
Fazttoyz13@yahoo.com

the ratcheting bar is all pulled out. Push the D shaped tab and press the serrated part IN, that will push the cable out the other side. This is how you adjust the TV cable. Adjust by pushing D button in, pushing bar in all the way and after installing pull throttle (at TB) all the way open and let the ratcheting bar extend. Do it @ the TB, not the pedal because if you don't depress the pedal all the way for whatever reason it's not adjusted properly.
Don't forget to put an o ring on the tranny side, there's an o ring groove in the underside face of the flange that bolts to the tranny.
Hope you didn't leave him neg feedback over this, that would suck!

Re: BEWARE fazttoyz13 IrocZ85 Fazt87Vert Brian Blanchard from Arlington Heights, IL
Do I really need to take a pic with it pushed the other way because that has NOTHING to do with the length of the inner metal cable and won't make the cable stick out any further on the tranny end. I know this because I tried it both ways last night.
All that's going to do is change the relation of the cable to the bracket. I've tried it every which way.
The old cable outer part is shorter and the ebay pic clearly shows a cable with a black end not a brownish green end and yet you're sticking up for this guy who you can do a search on here and see other people have had issues with him. Classic!
So here it is mocked up. with the inner cable pulled all the way forward and the D-ring adjusted all the way so the black outer part is forward as far as it will go.
So you think if I now hold the D-ring in and pull the black outter piece back away from the TBI unit even further it's somehow going to move cable part 4 inches closer.
The cable is pulled tight in the pic which means on the tranny end it's all the way up inside the housing. So not only does it need to come forward another inch or two just to hook to the TBI, it needs another 2-3 inches past that to even be able to move when the gas pedal is pushed. But you think it's just a d-ring adjustment and feel the need to insult my intelligence. ok thanks

Was it listed as a TBI cable? The color of the hookup isn't going to affect cable operation now is it? Looks like you simply bought the wrong cable.
The adjuster alters the effective length of the cable, not the actual cable length. When I said to push it in, I thought you couldn't extend the end that goes in the tranny to get it engaged and noticed the adjuster was extended to full throttle setting. You never said anything about having a TBI and it not hooking up on that end.

So you admit the color doesn't match between the pics but still can't put together that means he showed me one pic of a cable and sent me another.
bait/switch?
Seller won't acknowledge he sent the wrong cable.

Re: BEWARE fazttoyz13 IrocZ85 Fazt87Vert Brian Blanchard from Arlington Heights, IL
So you want me to pay out of my pocket to ship an item YOU incorrectly sent me?
So my car has been down and sitting in my yard because I can't move it because
you sent me a totally different part then in the pic, which you still claim is the same cable even after I've posted pics showing the obvious differences.
After that you expect me to trust you so I should just blindly send you said item back and hope you aren't lying about refunding my money like you lied about what cable you were selling me?
Oh and for all this I get to pay to ship it back on my own dime?
I don't think so, there's other posts on this board about people having bad dealings with you and you've had to change your screen name for some reason. Probably so it couldn't be as easily traced if someone did a search on your old screen name, (although I'm sure you'll say it was for another reason)
You refund my money first, you pay an extra $10 for shipping and then I will gladly send you this incorrect cable back.
I've been on this board since 1995 under the same screen name and plenty of people can vouch for me.
You just changed your name yet again so you don't get any credibility as far as I am concerned.

Re: BEWARE fazttoyz13 IrocZ85 Fazt87Vert Brian Blanchard from Arlington Heights, IL
This seems like a simple mistake and should be very easy to clear up. We're not talking about a $500 item here guys! What could this thing cost to ship $6-7 ?
Not his fault. If this was a item worth several hundered $$ that's one thing....... I could understand a seller not wanting to risk hundereds of $$ if the buyer didn't return the items. We are taling about a cable here ! It's cool to have quickly offered the refund - but now your dealing with a sceptical buyer and since it was your mistake you should AT LEAST be willing to ship the correct part - first. That makes him happy to be able to drive the car again in days rather than weeks while waiting for the back-&-forth thru snail mail.
If you sent the wrong cable than send him the correct one and expect that the incorrect cable will get sent back once the good one gets installed. HE didn't buy the wrong one - the wrong one was shipped to him. The buyer shouldn't deal with any additional expenses to get what was advertized - & paid for.
A simple mistake over a cheap part - better to take a $6-7 hit for the error and correct the mistake rather than it blowing up into something, Well; silly.

He won't admit to giving me the wrong part. Heck he doesn't even acknowledge when asked specifically about the differences between the pictures.
Now him not me esclated it for paypal to decide.
So i go to his website and look what I find. A cable for a v6 that doesn't stick out on each end and even has a brownish green clip. It's weird how that cable is for sale from him, when it's at my house.
http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/1618/cable3.jpg
and that pic blown up.
since this site resizes pics direct link
http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/9431/cable2c.jpg
Doesn't get any clearer then that, that he screwed me over and won't own up to his mistakes, won't admit or acknowledge he sent a different part, won't send the correct part, wants me to spend my money on something I didn't screw up and now has esclated it to paypal to decide.

I purposely avoid anything that guy sells on eBay simply because he's a jerk. I e-mailed him a question about one part and he was a complete tool about it. Simply from a customer service standpoint, I won't buy anything from him. Glad to know what his screen name on here is so I can avoid that also.

Send Aaron the correct part...he WILL send you back the incorrect one if you pay the shipping (which you should, since it's your mistake and not his). I know Aaron personally, he is not going to keep the wrong cable after you send him the money to ship it back to you.

i actually just bought my buffer box from him, cant say i had any problems. was the right part and shipped the same day i bought it. installed it and it works
however, i agree if you sent the guy the wrong part its your bad send him the right part. most of the people on her are honest guys and will send you the wrong part back. being a tool and having bad service though theres a good chance you wont get it back, especially if he has to pay to ship it.

kinda of but in no way due to him or his cooperation.
He hasn't even been on here since then under his fazt87vert screen name, which means he probably registered a new one just like he has in the past when his rep took a hit.
He wouldn't respond to e-mails either after I found the pic of the green tipped v6 cable still for sale on his website which is really the one he sent me and proved it was his mistake.
I guess when you e-mail me telling me
and then I find picture proof positive you mixed up the two cables, you look like a fool and don't want to talk about it anymore or do the right thing.
Oh well he had a chance to do the right thing. It's done with now.

I got a part from this guy and didnt have a problem at all. In fact he gave me the screws to put it on and he did want 5 bucks for them yet gave them to me. As for getting parts on ebay, If I can save money there I will, not all of us can afford stuff from Hawks or 3rd gen ranch. They want top dollar for everything and by going on ebay I have saved several hunders of dollars on parts and shipping. And that is no small thing when everything some of us do is on a tight budget.
But fazttoyz if you made a misstake just fix it and be done with it.

I bought stuff from his website and the only problem I had was that the item was out of stock. It's kind of disappointing that you order and pay for something and then get an email a few days later that the item had already been sold. My invoice was changed and I was refunded all I was due so I didn't think twice about it. After reading this mess I may consider looking else where for parts in the future though.

This was the guy who sold me the Sportsman II heads on here some years ago that had valves so bent that when closed there was 1/4" gap between one side of the valve and the seat. Had over a $300 machine shop bill to make the "like new" heads he sold me useable....I'm not surprised he's out there still screwing people. Brian was a HUGE TOOL when I had that problem transaction with him.

CHECK OUT THIS SHADY MOVE FROM BRIAN!!!!!!
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/engi...tech-chip.html
FaztToyz, AKA Fast87Vert, AKA Brian, bought a Hypertech Memcal for $45 shipped. Then he puts it on ebay for $75. Its all about money. I understand that. But a grudge is a grudge and I currently am holding one.

Re: BEWARE fazttoyz13 IrocZ85 Fazt87Vert Brian Blanchard from Arlington Heights, IL
I dont have a problem either. But I personally wouldnt buy from him. I tried to buy a plenum from his ebay. Come to find out, I was added to his blocked list. Reason was because he was selling a 3rd gen rear glass louver shade at a price that was heavy in the wallet. But the part had something broken. So after negotiating, he still refused to sell to me. I then found his personal website and bought from there. When I got the plenum, there was a chunk of aluminum missing where the TB mounts (I have a picture to verify the damage). I contacted him about a resolution and he told me that I should of purchased insurance. THere was no insurance offered. So after many attempts to contact him, my cousin (who I bought it for) had already put epoxy, sanded, and painted the part, he finally emailed and told me that I can send back the plenum and but I would have to pay for the shipping. Talk about "Customer Service"..

Even some guy on the Chicago craigslist was warning people about him !!.He ripped me off $250 cash, left me intimidating texts/voice mails on my phone ,"smudged" my rep on another forum to make me look bad and has had like 15 different eBay id's.If I would have known who he really "was" I would have NEVER dealt with him personally !! He is a Cook county sheriff so I didn't bother pressing it more since i know I would be wasting my time .I met Brian that one time with Lou and my impression was that they knew each other pretty well

I wish it was that easy,But you don't know how things "Operate" in Chicago Chicagoland Judges/LEO's/Politicans can get away with ANYTHING !!!! Corruption is REAL AND HARDCORE I honestly fear the cops more then the criminals in that city
Here is a "Taste of Chicago" and not talking hot dogs and Pizza :

And I did save all of that info on my old laptop,But it was sadly destroyed last year

Yeah I don't know why people buy from this guy, his prices are sky high and condition is fair-poor, see him selling on eBay all the time, I avoid him
