92 z28 convertible heritage edition
hello everyone, i have had my 92 rs heritage edition for a few years now and have always wanted a 3rd gen vert. about 2 months ago i came across a 92 z28 vert heritage edition. i had never in my life seen one and no one i know has either, so i ran the vin and rpo codes and sure enough it was true. i did some reaserch and from what i can find there were only about 120 made so i bought it imeditaly as it is in near perfect shape. i am wondering if anyone out there also has one and if anyone has any info on these as it is hard to find. thanks

It's HERITAGE EDITION, one "R" in heritage, and one "D" in edition. So please, for the love of G0D, please fix your member profile, please. Also, if you know how to edit your posts, you might want to take care of the post too.

Oh, and by the way, there is a guy not too far from me that has a 92 Z28 convertable heritage edition. Red w/black stripes, and it's in mint condition.

Say fisherbody86...
IF we are going to correct each other's spelling, you need to realize that convertible has an "i" in it instead of an "a".
I share lonsal's extreme chagrin at this very common typo

Hello 292camaros...
I used to own a '92 Z28 Heritage Convertible... and yes, they are extremely rare. I sold it to a guy in Colorado in February 2002 so I could buy a new 4th gen SS.
I wish to this day that I had kept it, it was in our family since it was new and it was very clean, only had 68k when I let it go. I have often thought of trying to contact the guy and see if he will sell it back to me.
I thought I had seen a total of 139 made, either way... you just never see them. Congrats on your find.
Feel free to shoot me an email if you want to know anything about the car.
Mike
