Thinking of selling my Black '92Z
Now that I picked up the Z03 I am thinking of selling my Black '92 Z and I am interested to see what you think I could get. I'd be in no rush and willing to wait out the right buyer.
'92 Z
199,xxx miles
2nd Owner, bought from elderly original owners
Maintained like it was their baby.
Very tight solid car that runs great, honestly drives like my 33k Z03 I just picked up
Interior very clean but needs dash pad (may put an aftermarket cover on it to sell)
Also driver seat back bolster has expected wear.
Black/Grey power cloth interior
Needs paint and minor rust repair. Floor has one spot of rust in non-critical location smaller than a fist.
two fenders have repairable rot directly behind the wheel
All original
Top shows wear but is acceptable for cars appearance
A.I.R system removed to declutter engine bay.
Engine bay VERY clean and nice.
I can post up pictures later

Post up some pics!
I think the miles and rust/rot is going to be a big factor on what you could expect to get form the sale.

Re: Thinking of selling my Black '92Z
Is it light surface rust, rust that has begun to make craters or a rust hole? If it's a rust hole the price is going to take a dive. If it's light rust on the under side I would just remove the rust with a wire wheel and buy some Eastwood primer and paint in their spray cans. Then just never tell potential buyers since you've corrected it. Probably only take an hour or two.
Unless the dash cover covers the dash board entirely and it looks nice I would just replace the dash board with a new or recovered board. A car whos dash has a long crack down the center of the dash is a real eyesore.
Post pictures and we can throw out an estimate.
