Engine: 350
Transmission: 700-R4
My coolant hoses need replacing and I don't know...
A.) I pulled them off a month ago
B.) I don't know what size hose I need (Chevy 350)
C.) I don't remember where they go exactly. As you can tell I'm a bit of a moron, but I'm trying my best here
I would like to put the fancy steel braid over them, so if you know anyone that sells a kit for 3rd gens inform me, because I am hopeless at this point.

The upper and lower hoses are fitted, you have to ask for them per application.
The heater hoses (at least for me) are 3/4" and 5/8." Where they go depends a lot on what engine they are going on....i.e need more info on the engine: carb, TPI, etc

It is a 71 block, was TPI but is going carb in the next month.

Coolant hose routing is fairly simple for carbureted cars. Assuming you are using a heater core, all you need are 4 hoses. The upper and lower radiator hoses, being form fitted, ask for them by application. The hoses to and from the heater core are 5/8" and 3/4", just ask for a couple of feet of each. I forget which size goes where, but one goes to the water pump, and the other goes to the front of the intake manifold. Just get a couple of fittings from the hardware store (you don't HAVE to, but I like new fittings where ever possible on new engines).

if the car was originally tpi, then doesn't he have a heater hose coming from the radiator going to the heater core? if this is the case then either the radiator connection will have to be plugged or he could just use it instead of going to the water pump.

Stekman is right about the sizes. I just replaced every one of my hoses last weekend. I also had an oil cooler which adds a couple lines. between the radiator and heater core. Best thing I did was go to the NAPA website. Not because they had heater hose diagrams for most applications (except mine) but becasue they actually had all my hoses listed. To top it off, the local store had all of them in stock!
