A/C high pressure switch replacement?
I just swapped out the A/C compressor, accumulator and oriface tube in the elky (AKA '88 TPI GTA), and I couldn't get the secondary fan to come on when charging the system. I put in 3 cans of R134a, and around 2 oz of oil, after the system had been vacuum for around 30 minutes. After all that work I found out that the high pressure switch isn't working to turn on the secondary fan. I know the low pressure switch has a schrader valve on it, so you can change it without opening the system, but is that true for the high pressure switch? I really don't want to open the system again.
FWIW, I have around 35psi low side and around 240psi high side pressures.

There is a valve in that connector. Might unhook the wires, short them together and see that the fans both come on.

Yep, I jumped the connector with a paperclip and wrapped electrical tape around it to make do, and they both come on... Just don't want to leave it like that. Thanks for letting me know about the valve
