dam!!!!!!!!!

can anyone post a picture of what a fully operational airdam looks like on trans am ? , because my airdam slightly bends back .

imho these are the backbone to the whole cooling system. if it is bent back in any way--REPLACE IT--. it is a cheap insurance piece.

they are usually bent slightly forward. If its back, you need to try to fix it or replace it.

all the mounting bolts are in place , its not bent back all the way it looks something like this )

yes you need to peplace it. they are angled slightly forward when right.

I made my own out of some polished alumminum and made about a 120* bend so its angled forward. Really forces air through the rad. now!

ok , quick question , IF my airdam isn't working properly then why when overheating , i turn on heater full blast then temp drop by few degrees i.e 220 to 190?

If the air dam isnt damaged, just bent, try removing it, pouring boiling water over it, and then bending it back into the correct shape. Its just plastic and can be molded a little bit (If any of you ever played sports, its the same thing you did with your mouthguard to help fit it to your mouth)

Yea except the mouthgaurd would burn my mouth cause i had it in boiling water and didn't let it cool
