They are all plug compatable. The '8063 & '8746 also support an IAT and CCP which the '747 does not.

(also see my response on the diy prom board fro additional info).

Short of a cut&paste I don't believe so.

I can fill in for the 8063. So far from what ive seen the 8063 is pretty much the same as teh 8746. Most of the code present in the 8063 is also present in the 8746. There are some notable differences, though. For one, the $4D offers the option to use the IAT in place of the cool temp for some of the lookups, most notably the cool comp. spark advance table. It also has a full temperature range BPW correction table for the IAT instead of jsut a couple values at higher temps. Another little interesting feature is the fact that it can use the map/baro for the main VE lookup instead of the SD MAP to adjust for altitude. It also does corrections to the WOT AFR depending on what the tps is. On an important note, the 8063 will not do closed loop idle unless in gear. Out of gear, it jsut sort of idles wherever and only makes adjsutment if the speed is too low or too high. Theres some other wierd little things in there that dont do anything but other then that its pretty much the same deal.

Bottom line...

The IAT stuff is good. Finally some ability to adjust the fuel and spark by the IAT, even if it is pretty feeble. Otherwise the tune is less then desirable and it left alot to be desired even on the stock L03. If I had to use one in stock form in a car application Id use the 8746 over the 8063
