'7165 ECM Wiring Q
Question about the factory wiring for the '165 ECM on my 89 TA. There is a 12V input (orange wire) that goes into the C1 plug I believe... Is that a switched 12v or always hot 12v source?
Reason I ask... I'm installing my C950 right now and I planned to use the orange 12v source for the factory ECM to tie into the switched 12v need that the C950 has.
I hooked the orange 12v from the factory ECM to the C950 red/white wire, and as soon as I hook up the battery it engages the fuel pump and primes the system... not once the ignition is turned, but as soon as the battery is hooked up...
Based on this I'm guess it's not a switched 12v???
Thanks in advance,
Chris
