I am new to tuning, help me out on learning!

Ok first off my car is a 1992 Z28 L98 G92 car. ported plenum, SLP ported plenum, vortec heads, vortec intake, 52 mm TB, etc. It's a mild bolt on car. I do plan to add AFR 190 heads, a stall, and a decent cam to match the heads etc. I also want to add a 150 shot. This is the issue I am running into. I want to start learning and tuning the car. I want to be able to load multiple tunes. One for the NA setup and one for the nitrous setup. I don't want to have to redo the tune every time I want to spray it. So what I am wanting to know is what setup would be best for me? what will I need? where do I find it? how do I learn? websites and links to how to use it, etc.

How is your basic understanding of how the ECU and sensors function?

I have found this book extremely useful:

http://www.amazon.com/Corvette-Injec...4065132&sr=1-1

While it was written for the Corvette, actually it is a great reference to the GM fuel injection systems. The author was going to write one for other cars but unfortunately died just after this book published.

yes. I had one on my Prominator and also have one on my EBL. Prominator was on dash board. EBL requires I have laptop on and EBL program running during change of .bin.

I'm surprised no one mentioned to read all the stickies in this forum and the chip forum. In those stickies are also dozens of links to read.

As far as the hardware to switch .bin files Moates has all you need!
