Re: "FAST" ecm?

Another post going on right now has lots of info on the EZ-EFI which is a FAST system. Kind of depends on what you want to do, how much you want to put into tuning and how much you want to spend.

Re: "FAST" ecm?

i was looking in the direction of XFI for total control but i dunno what ecu i would need for my 350 (it has head work cam emissions delete wsr so the GM ecu cant handle it correctly)

The XFI looks good and features compare well to the Accel Gen VII. Lots of options and EVERYTHING can be custom tuned. I believe you have to get the ECU, the main harness, the injector harness, the ignition harness, and the sensors for your application. I think the price of the XFI is lower than the Accel. I have not priced a total XFI system. FAST gets a lot of exposure and seems to be fairly popular.

Nice thing about the XFI is that if you go boosted, NOS or other mods you will be set to handle them.

I would contact their Tech Support line, tell them what you have and ask what you need.

FAST has good stuff but they are not the only game in town. There are literally hundreds of differant ways to go about tuning with a laptop...
