Tuning DF code [hybrid] [have datalogs] help needed plz :(

hello everyone, im currently tuning my 1993 Gp
i rebuilt a 2.8 block/crank that i had in my old 88 cutlass before it got written off, so i pulled the motor and put it into my 93 gp, during the swap i installed a 3100 topend, rebuilt the 4t60-e transmission and changed the fdr to 3.73 and put in a 2800 stall Torque converter
the block has a comp cams 260H cam and the 3100 1.6 roller rockers.
i have all new sensors except tps, cts, iac and map which are all in good condition, so i have gotten as far as starting it up and getting some datalogs from it...

i usually hang out at 60degreev6, and posted my datalogs there, but im not really getting any help with my tuning :P so i come here, i realize this is an F body forum, but i have been reading this forum for a couple years now, and there are so many knowledgable people i thought i would try my luck here

so here are my specs...

i have disabled egr, and ccp and "calculate bpw at idle as function of airflow"
burnt the new chip installed and took logs

my cars specs

its a 1993 pontiac grand prix
9396 ecu running aubu df code
2nd gen 2.8L crank/block
2000ish 3100 topend (small runner i think)
port&polish heads
factory manifolds
comp cams 260H
1.6 rollers
has 496 lift
4t60-e 3.73
2800 stall torque converter

factory cat, and mufler (for now) gonna throw on the hooker muffler and put in a "test pipe" in place of the cat
im in canada so i dont have to worry about emissions

LOGS:
you can download the 3 i have are zipped
scroll down, click download for free
if the link or zip file doesnt work let me know and ill post up the csv's only

http://www.filefactory.com/file/c40ad7

there is an
idle@2000 rmp
idle
and idle in gear

Thank you
Dan

im pullin my hair out here....

lowering the values at 0%egr makes it run worse, raising them makes it run worse, i dunno...

Can you describe the problems you're having? Pointing us to logs is good, but it might help to have more specifics on the problem(s) you're trying to solve.

I guess it looks a little rich at those loads (BLM 100-105, want to be about 128), and the IAC counts are a little high. And the spark advance is a little low at 2000 with no laod.

Anything else?

ya this things all over the place...
kpa at idle is 60+ at 2000rpm no load its like 35
im new to tuning so i dont really know where to start

i was talking to someone that said i should add all map related references from the df document into tunerpro

i found these (in DF document, and not already in df.xdf)

Code:
0872 30 48 KIDFMAPH 28 KPA MAP ABOVE WHICH CAN BECOME IDLE FUEL
                                                 FORMS HYSTERISIS PAIR WITH
                                                 KIDFMAPL
0873 64 100 KIDFMPL 47.3 KPA MAP BELOW WHICH CAN BECOME IDLE FUEL
                                                 FORMS HYSTERISIS PAIR WITH
0878 78 120 KIDFMPH 54.6 KPA MAP ABOVE WHICH CAN BECOME SPEED DENSITY
                                                 FORMS HYSTERISIS PAIR WITH
                                                 KIDFMPL
0879 5E 94 KMPBPWFT 45 KPA MIN MAP THRESH FOR RPMFILT/RPM BPW MULT

08B3 40 64 KCELMAPH 40 KPA HIGH MAP DETERMINES PART THROTTLE CELL
                                                 HIGH HYSTERESIS VALUE, WITH
                                                 KCELMAPL

looks like i might want to add this one for sure

0873 64 100 KIDFMPL 47.3 KPA MAP BELOW WHICH CAN BECOME IDLE FUEL

seeing as im running 60 kpa at idle, everything is off balance
might want to raise this to like 70 kpa

i dont know the math to figure out the equation in tunerpro.

mangus, i would like to add the following references into tuner pro but need a little help

Code:
0872 30 48 KIDFMAPH 28 KPA MAP ABOVE WHICH CAN BECOME IDLE FUEL
                                                 FORMS HYSTERISIS PAIR WITH
                                                 KIDFMAPL
0873 64 100 KIDFMPL 47.3 KPA MAP BELOW WHICH CAN BECOME IDLE FUEL
                                                 FORMS HYSTERISIS PAIR WITH
0878 78 120 KIDFMPH 54.6 KPA MAP ABOVE WHICH CAN BECOME SPEED DENSITY
                                                 FORMS HYSTERISIS PAIR WITH
                                                 KIDFMPL
0879 5E 94 KMPBPWFT 45 KPA MIN MAP THRESH FOR RPMFILT/RPM BPW MULT

08B3 40 64 KCELMAPH 40 KPA HIGH MAP DETERMINES PART THROTTLE CELL
                                                 HIGH HYSTERESIS VALUE, WITH
                                                 KCELMAPL

0865 0260 608 KINJXBC5 0.2375 SEC/GM PRODUCT OF INJECTOR FLOW RATE AND
FUEL CALCULATION BASE CONSTANT
FOR SINGLE FIRE
i think this is a good place to start, adjusting the proper values for my injectors, first off to get them in the ball park
i have no idea what i should adjust these too

there should be 2 of them in df code for the adjustment of injector flow rates
only 1 is in tunerpro "injector flow rate"
this is in gal/h and is currently at 2.67, im guessing since im using the 3100 injectors there going to need to be adjsut alittle higher
same with
"0865 0260 608 KINJXBC5 0.2375 SEC/GM" once added to tunerpro is in grams/sec, and im guessing i should raise those to refelct values of the 3100 injectors

im thinking its a good place to start, to get the computer to see what its running for fuel anyways? :P

lol ????

MangusCan you describe the problems you're having? Pointing us to logs is good, but it might help to have more specifics on the problem(s) you're trying to solve.
ok, with 0%egr @ 224 (factory set) the car will start with no need to press the gas pedal, it will idle very bumpy and chuggy
pressing the gas pedal to rev the engine : from idle it will hesitate on tip in and then rev but with no power and it doesnt want to rev very high
or if i just tease it and tap the pedal it kinda just hesitates and the idles raises a bit then drops down, i notice the iac counts raise alot so im guessing thats why the idle raises a bit then goes down
when i put it into gear: it allmost wants to die, it will sit there and dance up and down up and down

now when i lower the 0%egr it does all this but worse x5
same with raising the 0%egr but noticable smoke from exahaust and it deffinatly wont idle and if it does idle it sounds mega plumpedy plump like alchohol funny car lol
i change it by like 10

the ecm wont take my 27sf512 chips, no matter what runs like its crazy rich, with smoke from the exaust, and i dont think it goes into closed loop i never ran it long becuase i dont want to wash out the rings or anything, like its super crazy rich

so i am using the at29c256 chips and i only have 1 left, my willems is eating them up for some reason

so this is why i am mega frustrated, and am looking for help lol

so to sum it up im trying to solve my rich problem of blms at 100
id like to adjust the injector values in the code to reflect the proper 3100 injector values, but i need to add it into tunerpro which i dont know how

sorry for the long post

well im thinking i have some sort of overlap false lean issue going on

i found some intresting refereces in the df.doc

0DD3 1C 28 KFO2DLT 0.124 VOLTS DELTA VALUE TO FORM RICH-LEAN
WINDOW FOR ADO2AF ("FAST O2")
0DD4 08 8 KHGTH 0.035 VOLTS MIN ERROR TO IMPLEMENT INT CORRECTION
0DD5 64 100 KIDOXTH 0.442 VOLTS RICH/LEAN O2 THRESHOLD WHEN IN IDLE
0DD6 70 112 KIDLZU 0.496 VOLTS ZEREFU VALUE WHEN IDLING
0DD7 58 88 KIDLZL 0.39 VOLTS ZEREFL VALUE WHEN IDLING

but they are not added into df.xdf(definition file), and im affraid i donot have the knowledge to add them properly

id like to try to lower the o2 mv constants @ idle and see if that will help correct my surging, stalling, and hesitation on tip in of throttle

anyone good enough at math to help me figure out what the "equation format" would be to enter into tunerpro
and are all these 8bit?
