Having issues with Autoprom
Just got my autoprom...I'm all kinds of excited...but ran into a few problems already...thought maybe you guys could help?
A. It says when you buy it, that it comes with a registered version of TunerPro RT. However, the only software I found with it was a link to Mark Mansur's website, and to download it there. So pretty much I still get the nag screen for registration. Any ideas?
B. I had 2 AT29C256's already burned and everything, one with TCC lockup, one without. I tried to read the one with it on the autoprom, and it says it successfully did it. However, when you look at spark tables and the like, they are all at an obscure value. Every value in the spark table is like 89.xx. The base timing is the exact same way. However, when I burn and read a new 512 chip, it works just fine. Any ideas? The autoprom is supposed to read both, and I selected the proper one from the list before reading it.
C. I attempted datalogging. I got the values up on the screen, but when I attempted to record, it says error creating log file. Any ideas on what to do?
Thanks.

When I bought my autoprom a couple years ago, Mark emailed me a registration code. Check your emails, or he might be busy and hasn't got around to it yet, he'll fix you up.

A. Key sent.
B. Did you use the proper offsets when reading the chip? http://www.moates.net/documentation....entation_id=20
C. You need to select a file to save to first. Enter a new filename or point to an existing log file to add sessions to it. Don't forget about the TunerPro help file (in the help menu).

wait are you Mark Mansur or Craig Moates?
anyways...whoever you are...i received the key, and thank you. secondly, you were right about the offsets...i knew there was something I was missing, I was reading the chip as a 32k chip, when I should have had it as a 16k. I put in the values for 16k in that table, and it worked!
and about the log file, after i posted i read the tunerpro help thing and did the "oh im stupid" thing.
Thank you very much I appreciate the help.
