Zeitronix WB + EBL = results!!

Zeitronix WB + EBL = results!!
This is really working out for me. Turns out my VE was lean at the top end- WB showed this. The WB also has put my idle at 14.7 AFR. Now tuning is even more addictive. Next I'll try AE tuning!!!!
Like a damn kid in a candy store.
Definitely a 'must buy' item for serious tuning!!!!
Thanks to the guys here and at FSC.

Looks like your NB is 934 at idle? Is it correct? WB is 14.7 Hmmm

It bounces around alot. Even with my old 1-wire O2 it did that and it does it with my 3-wire heated O2. It oscillates very fast from low to high. The VE tables generated by the NB O2 sensors compared to the WB have been almost identical, except for the top end. I don't know if that oscillation is normal- don't scare me...LOL

OK
Aghhh, now it makes sense. O2 transitions, but I wonder if Bob can add averaging function (just for display sake) as an indicator of AFR over the last ‘n’ O2 sensor readings.
LOL - I got to get EBL as soon as I put my system together.

The first time I ran my ZT-2 thru the EBL I felt like I was cheating

Re: Zeitronix WB + EBL = results!!
it really does feel like cheating...lol
My truck felt a little stronger running open loop all afternoon...
Is this because the ECM wasn't pulling any fuel because it was in open loop?
Weird. Most of the VE was on, average probably about 14.0 if you could do such a thing. Maybe that little xtra fuel was giving me the extra strength.?
Anybody else notice this when running OL?

It really does make tuning seem fun when you get one. A wideband, I mean...
I'll even use one with a carb when I get back for vacation this summer.

Yeah
Before doing carb to TBI conversion I took several data runs with Zietronix ZT-2 and MAP sensor to establish a base line. Unfortunately, I do not have TPS on my carb, but I was able to take some very interesting data and make mixture adjustments. One thing for sure WB is a great tool.

Currently Idle SPark option bit is checked, with a value of 27.5 deg. I think I was a little high because I just started my truck after forgetting to take a pic of the what's up during my cruise with the WB.
As I tried lowering the idle SA, the MAP grew and the engine ran more rough. 26 deg was like 45 MAP, light vibration. 24 deg was MAP 47, more vibration. I know it seems a little high, but the engine idles worse with less timing.
I don't have my digital camera right now, but on the EBL you will see abunch of screw-type terminals numbered 0-6 or 0-7, with three more having the letter GND in front of them. I hooked my WB 0-5v data wire into the terminal labeled '0' and hooked up the sensor EMS ground wire to the terminal with the letter 'G' in front of it.
Just insert the stripped wire end into the terminal and turn the screw to lock the wire
Then in the What'sup, select learn from WB, the appropriate sensor and channel (0-7) you hooked it into. Run an open loop bin and watch it grow
In the File menu tab, preferences option
----------
I'm going to go confirm my base timing right now.
c ya in a few

I have an innovate LC1. the LC1 i believe is called a controller. they also offfer another system that is simply A/F display i believe as well as an optional gauge in pod or dash for LC1. i know my digital readout on LC1moves way to fast to garner any meaningfull A/F. Only by graphing the log and smoothening can I see a nice graph. I wonder if the digital 2 inch gauge is somehow averaged or reads in tenth of a second intervals rather than one hundredth of a sec. I that is the case another gauge in car may be neat. How fast does the WB A/F change in the WU logs. Is it too all over the place?

Re: Zeitronix WB + EBL = results!!
The WB AFR is steady under constant driving, changing .1-.2 mv at a time. It doesn't oscillate like the NB does. An AFR gauge would be cool. Yeah the Zeitronix has a box also.

Re: Zeitronix WB + EBL = results!!
just when things were looking up...
I just hit 100 percent VE -3000 rpm at 80 MAP.
New BPC maybe. or maybe increase the BPC vs BARO table.

Raise fuel pressure, too.

Re: Zeitronix WB + EBL = results!!
14 psi on 90's should give me enough fuel for this engine, especially here at altitude. I have a BPC of 91 right now. Has anybody messed with the BPC vs. BARO table in the EBL?

New BPC maybe.
I have had to "fudge" my BPC(raise it) as i hit 100 right from the get go in my tables around 3200 rpms 50-70 map area. i have asked the question as well as to whether this is acceptable tuning method or is something very wrong with something in my tune or software(tunerpro). maybe a very efficient engine will see this? is this a specific issue with EBL or A-OK to do so?
RBob: last year i could not send you WP logs as i did not have high speed at my residence. now i do. if you or anyone else cares to look at my logs and or .bin i would appreciate it. car actually never ran as good as it does today. i think i am getting better at this.
