can tunign really be this easy?

well, iv gotten to the point were i have a really good undertanding of the fuel table, and can see how my adjustment work and it coming along great, and my air fuel ratio is for the most part, right on the money. as far as spark, an experienced tuner on another forum set me up a bin file to start from with a good spart table that i havnt messed with, baiscaly its just a bit less spark for the boost i run.

so can it really be this easy? im having no problems geting it just how i want it, is there more to it than fuel and spark? iv been thinking about messing with the deceleration enleanment box since when i let off the gas it always goes way rich when i let off the gas and decelerate.

any tips would be appreciated, i just feel like i must be missing something being that im tuning and i dont have a headache lol

Yeah, the VE and spark tables are quite simple, really, along with most of the base idle stuff - I let the new engineers do those for me. Transients (AE and DE, accel enrichment and decel enleanment respectively) are where the fun is. Instant Cold starts and good warm-up with wild combinations is also a place where many get caught up. Also, there's a bit of "drivability" to be found with the IAC and managing it at closed throttle while driving. If you ever decide to get into a modern PCM, you may get a few headaches.
Experience is when you can recognize problems before you waste too much time trying to tune around them.
