Decel Surging
I have a surging on decelleration. I am showing a little rich just on decelleration with BLMs around 116-120 and my datalogs don't show anything bad that I can tell. How can I kick this? If slam the brakes for a deer at a low speed it almost stalls. I have increased the decelleration enleanment by 3% and it doesn't seem to help. Do I need to increase my timing in my 30-40kpa range through 2000rpms?

Re: Decel Surging
Surging is caused by going lean. Try less DE and/or force open loop during decel. Can also be caused by too much proportional gains during that time. During the lean swing the engine can surge. Open loop decel solves that issue without needing to mess with the prop gains.

Re: Decel Surging
Thanks. I will give it a shot tommorrow. It shows I am going rich according to the BLMs so I guess it's that "Phantom Leanness" caused by the cam.
