$8D memcal knock board ?
I am attempting to install KS in my $8D S_AUJP v4 1227727 ecm and I am finding some interesting problems. I am using Moates G1 adapter and EEPROM and when I set the bit for code 41 and run I get SES and code 41, So I tried the Jumper trick ASSuming that maybe I had a V6 memcal and now it runs horrible.
If I un-set the bit for code 41 runs fine. How do I verify what knock board I have?

Only way is by the BCC on it or the chip numbers inside it (with some digging)
Set the Error code bit to "ON" so you can see if the error occurs.
Set the value of "Cylinder Select" to 00 (Indicates V8 application)
If you get SES 41, Your MEMCAL is probably V6. (make the jumper change and try again)
If no SES and runs like crap, you are ready to begin tuning.
